By accessing or registering for Congowetu Identity, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

You may use Congowetu Identity if you:

• Are a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an eligible diaspora member
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Comply with all applicable laws

To obtain a Congowetu Identity you must:

1. Complete the registration process
2. Submit identity information
3. Pay any applicable registration fee
4. Successfully complete identity verification

Congowetu may verify identity through:

• Biometric verification
• Document validation
• Fraud detection systems

Failure to complete verification may result in account rejection.

Certain services may require payment. Payments are securely processed by Stripe or other approved processors.

All payments are subject to applicable refund policies.

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate personal information
• Protect their login credentials
• Not attempt to create multiple identities
• Not use the platform for illegal activity

Users may not:

• Attempt to bypass identity verification
• Submit false or fraudulent documents
• Access the platform using automated systems
• Interfere with system security

Violations may result in account suspension.

Congowetu may suspend or terminate an account if:

• Fraudulent activity is detected
• Identity verification fails
• Legal requirements mandate suspension

Congowetu is not liable for:

• Unauthorized access caused by user negligence
• Service interruptions due to technical issues
• Third-party service disruptions

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the DRC.

Congowetu may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of changes. Users will be notified of significant updates.

• Store their Congowetu Digital ID
• Present identity credentials digitally
• Authenticate with government and private services
• Share verified identity attributes when required

• Congowetu Digital Identity credential
• Age verification credential
• Residency credential
• Professional or government-issued credentials

Users control how their identity data is shared. When a service requests identity verification, the wallet will ask the user to approve the data sharing request before transmitting any information.

• Biometric device authentication
• Secure encryption
• Device-level protection
• Secure credential storage

If a device containing the wallet is lost or stolen, users should immediately:

1. Log in to the Congowetu Identity portal
2. Revoke wallet access
3. Register a new device

Users may not:

• Attempt to manipulate or falsify credentials
• Share wallet credentials unlawfully
• Attempt to bypass identity verification mechanisms

Violations may result in suspension of the digital identity.

Congowetu Identity may update or modify wallet features as technology evolves to maintain security and compatibility with partner services.
